SONO has 16 editions as the official audiovisual provider of the Sitges Festival. This edition has kept the projection and parallel activities in the usual spaces, the Meliá Sitges hotel being the main venue. Sam Neil, Patrick Wilson, Aaron Paul, Maribel Verdú, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Asia Argento or Pupi Avati were some of the names that walked through the carpet of the Meliá Sitges auditorium.
Equipment rental and audiovisual technical assistance service
For the staging, Sono Tecnología Audiovisual has provided equipment for stage presentation based on the Encore ME screen management system and managed by BARCO Folsom SC control table. Audio coverage has been provided with a dozen L’Acoustics and NEXO speakers, facilitating microphones, as well as the press rack for presentation presentations. The auditorium lighting has been completed with conventional light projection, KORRIGAN-HMI 1200 tracking cannons and LED moving heads.
Similarly, the Tramuntana room, has been fully equipped with video, audio and lighting equipment. The Brigadoon space featured a 5,000 lumens Panasonic PT-Ez570E HD LCD projector, installing a 4 x 2.25 meters projection screen in 16: 9 format and 5.1 audio system. There was also projection on screen of 4.47 x 2.60 meters with a 5,000 lumens PANASONIC LCD in the area of Cinema a la Fresca. The areas Garden, cinema Retiro, cinema Prado were covered with audio and video system with set of monitors and 60” LCD screens or similar.
This yea, at the entrance of the Meliá Sitges, the 45-tiles LED screen has also been installed for the distribution of contents of the festival itself.
