Conceptualisation and installation of the museum project aimed at beco – ming the focus of attention of the visitor to Ubrique.

The history centre will be established in the neoclassical hermitage of octagonal design located in the historic heart of the city. The building has two floors. On the ground floor the visitor’s centre can be found. There is also a large format projection space where the visitor can see videos about the city today: the surroundings, the local industry, tourist attractions etc. There is also a plasma screen that runs a video about the building’s unique characteristics and describes its restoration. The upper floor is given over to an ex – tensive exhibition about the history of Ubrique, in which the visitor will learn about the city’s evolution from Paleolithic times. The narrative of the exhibition is told through a series of large books that the visitor is invited to peruse to get to know the city’s history.
