The event was held in the cinemas Cinesa Méndez Álvaro 3D. It has been the first edition of this event that brought together more than 400 people in a forum on digital transformation and the use of new technologies applied to marketing and brand communication.

SONO, as a specialist in audiovisual technology integration, sponsored the event providing assembly, technical assistance and design and also actively participating in one of the round tables that were held with Carlos Henao, SONO Marketing Director as speaker.

Desing, audiovisual assembly and live performance

SONO was responsible for audio-visual adaptation of the projection room where the presentations were held. Content management on the projection screen of the room was carried out with Barco S3 management system. The sound of the room was reinforced with loudspeakers by L’Acoustic, providing complete microphone for speakers and room microphones.

For the lightning of the room, different textures were created thans to the ProLight moving heads that were placed on the sides of the stage (Luma 1500SH, Ruby Beam, Stark 400), accompanied by a Chamsys MQ60 lightning mixer. The event was held live to three cameras to facilitate monitoring by the audience.

Transparency of brands yes, but beyond the norm.

Carlos Henao, Marketing Director of SONO, participated together with Raquel González, communication director of El Tenedor, Pilar Zaforteza, Marketing Manager Spain & Portugal at BlaBlaCar, Peter F. Noguera, Social Media Manager at Energy Sistem, Rafael Rivera, responsible for innovation and technology at Mediapost and Luis Fantini, SVP Marketing & Technology at ROI UP Group in the panel entitled ‘Blind trust’.

Henao stressed the need for brands to bet on communication and a way of marketing capable of gaining the trust of consumers with actions that are really focused on highlighting the responsibilities they have with society and the agents that surround them. Ultimately, according to Henao, transparency is a normative issue – brands are obliged to make their clients and potential clients aware of what practices – but it will be necessary to go further to really win over consumers, increasingly aware and demanding. And that, according to Henao, can only be done through good communication and marketing management.

SONO will accompany Marketin Directo again on November 12 at the event that is already underway ‘Enamorando al consumidor’ (Falling in love with the consumer) in the Cinesa Projections rooms in Madrid.
