Hotel W in Barcelona, the 5-star seaside emblematic space, hosted the 2nd annual 2016 European Carrier Symposium, organized by Henry Schein Orthodontics (HSO) and the agency Global Pro Events. More than 200 attendees gathered during two days around the conferences of 7 national and international experts, focused on orthodontic excellence and technology.

Global Pro Events entrusted Sono to be the audiovisual provider of the event. Sono carried out the technical production, audiovisual equipment rental set-up, recording, live broadcast and live stage management.

Audio-visual technology

On the stage, Sono installed a LEDs screen of 3,9 mm and large format (7,5 x 4 m) allowing speakers to display with high quality and definition the orthodontics exemples, infographies and other contents supporting their speeches. Thanks to a Folsom image Management system combined with a PDS 902 processor, the display combined and alternated different sources (video, computer and live relay), using PiP modes (Picture in Picture).

Essential in this international congress, which gather people from 20 countries between speakers and attendees, was the simultaneous translation system implemented by Sono with 2 booths and more than 100 digital receivers.

Sono also facilitated the sound and lighting of the space and provided other elements like the design lectern, decorative side panels and confort monitors for the speakers.
