This year the show was more wide-ranging and pionee – ring than ever, and it took place in the Poblenou area known as the new 22@ tech hub of the city.<\/p>\n Sono, as specialists in integrating audio – visual services for cultural events, were tasked with supplying the audiovisual equipment for the videomapping. This was projected onto the side fa\u00e7ade of the Design Museum (Disseny Hub) and over the pool at the back of the same building. These were projects from David Torrents, Maurici Gin\u00e9s and Bego M. Santiago respectively.<\/p>\n Edge blending with 40,000 lumen projectors and Watchout<\/strong><\/p>\n For the spectacle that was projected onto the side of the building, known as \u2018the stapler\u2019, two 40,000 lumen HD projectors were used, each one in the edge blending format and managed by a Watchout system. The result was that the signals from the equipment in each position were blended perfectly.<\/p>\n This spectacle from David Torrents, Maurici Gien\u00e9s, and Xiu, transformed the fa\u00e7ade into a giant ear that listened and reacted to the words in a sound and light dialogue. There was noise, onomatopeia and animated images in a videomapping that was projected in cycles of around six minutes.<\/p>\n For the visual effect created over the pool at the rear of the building two 20,000 lumen Barco HDX W20 Flex projetors were used, each one in edge blending format and managed by a Watchout system. The result was that the signals from the equipment in each positin were blended perfectly.<\/p>\n This audiovisual spectacle could be seen at the weekend from 19h to 23h.
