Sono Tecnología Audiovisual wil be the company in charge of the exclusive management of the audiovisual equipment and systems installed in the main hall of the Cartuja Center CITE, the new cultural space of the Andalusian capital.
The Cartuja Center CITE auditorium will be one of the largest in Europe, with an 18-metre high ceiling and 2,048 stepped seats. It has an automated system for configuring the space, offering great versatility, and there is a sunken area for up to 4,000 people.
Sono was responsible for the installation of an LED display with a 3.9 mm pixel pitch, as well as a 29,000 lumen laser projector. For visual content management a Folsom Encore video processor, Watchout software and a Roland mixer for multi-screen productions were used.
Sono has also taken over the installation of the auditorium's sound equipment with 24 Meyer speakers and subwoofers, providing digital consoles of the Digico SD9 brand for its control.
At the same time, the auditorium is equipped with Meyer's Galaxy system, an enveloping and multi-configurable system that has spaces with the latest technology adapted worldwide.
For the lightning system, 140 spotlights with LED technology have been installed, 20 of which are mobile, which will be managed with a large lighting control table Ma2. Shure michophones and Panasonic reference cameras for stage and pit complete the set of audiovisual technology used. On the outside, a totem with a 3.5 x 2 meter screen has aslo been installed.
All this audiovisual technology will be available for the various events that may take place in the room.
Sono Audiovisual technology participated, along with Group Eventoplus, in the opening pre-act on March 2 for stakeholders in the sector, who presented the latest in audiovisual technology.
The Cartuja Center CITE officially opened to the public last weekend. Managed by a joint venture between Eulen Cultural and Smedia, it covers a total area of 33,000 square metres and will become the new meeting point for the dissemination of the city’s arts and culture, while also acting as a strategic location for holding congresses.
It has a central auditorium, plus a variety of other spaces including a 300 square metre auditorium for 400 people, a rehearsal room, multi-purpose rooms for exhibitions and a space provided for sector-related training on audiovisuals.
275,000 people are expected to attend the facilities during the first year.
